  • DFA Fundraising Events throughout the year

Opportunities: 

Arts In Bloom

Pre event activities: 

  • Marketing – printed material distribution, promotion at vendor booth at local Farmer’s Markets
  • Clean up gardens (Kokepelli Gardens), hang art, tagging art, hand and collect directional signs for event, general set up for event (tents, chairs, tables etc.)

During Event activities: 

  • Guest greeters, event Load in & clean-up, maintenance crew

SandBlast Festival of the Arts

Pre event activities: 

  • Marketing – printed material distribution, promotion at vendor booth at local Farmer’s Markets
  • Planning committees: Communications; Artists; Music; Vendors; Sand Sculpture: participate on committees, attend meetings and work to execute varying tasks

During Event activities: 

  • Assist Arts load in, booth set up; hang and collect directional signs for event, general set up for event (tents, chairs, tables etc.)
  • Guest greeters, event Load in & clean-up, maintenance crew

Booth work

  • Work a booth for DFA at the Duvall Days booth, Farmers Markets, both Carnation and Duvall 2-3 hour shifts.

Duvall Visitor Center Greeter

  • Greet visitors to the center, direct them to area businesses or answer questions regarding Duvall and the Snoqualmie Valley.
  • Shifts 2 to 4 hours, students should work in pairs

Special Notes

  1. Some activities may require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work under in climate weather conditions, and stand for 2 or more hours, be available at specific times.
