    While we will do our best to accommodate your first choice of day & time, please provide a second choice. The SandBlast Music Director will make the final decisions regarding the musical line up after considering all submissions.

SandBlast Music Director will respond to musician’s submissions with contracts should group be selected for festival. ALL Signed Contracts are due to SandBlast Director by May 12th. Failure to submit the signed contract by the due date will result in the time slot being marked as open, and other groups will be considered for the vacancy.

GENERAL INFORMATION
All Musician/Performer applicants must complete Musical Technical information and sign and date this Performance Contract agreement.

PERFORMERS REQUIREMENTS
Please complete form indicating any special equipment needs or set up requirements. Performers are expected to arrive in time for set up and short sound test prior to performance. We recommend 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to performance.

PAYMENT FOR PERFORMANCE
Duvall Foundation for the Arts will pay a small amount to each band. DFA raises money through sponsorship and grant from the city to present this event. In order to keep the event FREE to the public we work with a very small budget.

TO RECEIVE PAYMENT
Band/individual must have submitted completed W-9 with signed contract to receive check from DFA.

SANDBLAST FESTIVAL PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING:

  • Microphone with stands
  • DIs
  • Monitors
  • Mixing Board
  • Reverb, EQ, Compression
  • 110 Volt power source

INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
In consideration of the acceptance of this application, applicant agrees to save and hold harmless all officers, employees and agents of the SandBlast Festival of the Arts, Duvall Foundation for the Arts, and the City of Duvall from any loss or damage whatsoever to persons or property arising out of participation in the festival and further, agrees to defend said personnel from any claims for damage related hereto.

FESTIVAL HOURS
The Festival hours are Noon to 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 15th, and Noon to 6:00 pm on Sunday July 16th.

SET UP – Load In/Out
Load in: From the McCormick Park entrance, drive over the curb, keeping to the right of the bathroom. Follow the driveway to the chain link gate and pass through. Turn left onto the walking trail, and travel to the South Entrance of McCormick Park.

There will be volunteers in the festival area on Saturday night keeping watch over the performance equipment and stage. All equipment and booths left overnight are, however, left at the participant’s own risk.
