2016 Sno-Valley Short Film and Animation Festival Poster Submission
The 2016 Sno-Valley Short Film and Animation Festival is a juried film festival (with an unjudged portion for younger participants) that will take place on February 20, 2016[1], at Monroe River Valley Farm, 19829 168th St. SE, Monroe, WA 98272.
The Junior category of the festival is for entrants in grades K through 5. Artists in this age range are invited to submit a poster design representing the culture and art of filmmaking, while embracing the spirit of the Snoqualmie Valley. There will be an early (12:00pm)[2] screening of Junior film submissions and our Junior poster artists are invited to attend, where they will be able to walk the green carpet, where photographer(s) will be on hand to catch their arrival to the screening.
The Intermediate category of the festival is for entrants in grades 6 through 12. Artists in this age range are invited to submit a poster design representing the culture and art of filmmaking, while embracing the spirit of the Snoqualmie Valley. There will be an afternoon (3:00pm)2 screening of Intermediate film submissions and our Intermediate poster artists are invited to attend, where they will have the opportunity to walk the green carpet, where photographer(s) will be on hand to catch their arrival to the screening.
The Advanced category of the festival is for entrants 18 years and older. Artists in this age range are invited to submit a poster design representing the culture and art of filmmaking, while embracing the spirit of the Snoqualmie Valley. There will be an evening (7:00pm)2 screening of Advanced film submissions and our Advanced poster artists are invited to attend where they will have the opportunity to walk the green carpet, where photographer(s) will be on hand to catch their arrival to the screening.
Following the final screening, there will be a champagne gala for participants and their guests aged 21 and older.
Deadline to apply is Monday November 30, 2015.
Poster artists will be notified of their status by Thursday December 31, 2015.
Only one entry per artist will be accepted.[3]
Entries will be accepted electronically via email, the electronic submission form below, or via US mail to Duvall Foundation for the Arts, PO Box 1043, Duvall, WA 98019, or in person to the Duvall Visitor and Centennial Center.
